A PAUSA / THE PAUSE
The years
pass, the pains too, but never the marks.
When sweets leave memories, when not scars.
Some are more visible because they stay in
leather, on the skin.
They don't burn, they don't hurt, they just mark
the day, the time and the instant.
But there are others little visible, which some
take in the soul and that burns, hurts,
It hurts and scratches.
When they no longer endure so much pain, the
agony turns to weeping
And it involves the whole body, washing with
water and salt the marks that time did not lead.
There are still rare people who can resist such
pain; They struggle, they writhe,
They tremple at the walls of the heart, but they
do not fall, remain firm and strong,
Are like containment barriers, a dam; Waiting
for the right moment to give in to a rain of tempestuous emotions.
A PAUSA
Os anos passam, as dores também, mas nunca as
marcas.
Quando doces deixam lembranças, quando não
cicatrizes.
Algumas são mais visíveis, pois ficam no couro,
na pele.
Elas não queimam, não doem, apenas marcam o dia,
o horário e o instante.
Mas há outras pouco visíveis, que alguns levam
na alma e essa queima, doi,
Machuca e arranha.
Quando não suportam mais tanta dor, a agonia se
transforma em choro
E envolve todo o corpo, lavando com água e sal
as marcas que o tempo não levou.
Ainda são raras as pessoas que conseguem
resistir tamanha dor; se debatem, se contorcem,
Estremecem as paredes do coração, mas elas não
caem, continuam firmes e fortes,
são como barreiras de contenção, uma barragem; à
espera do momento certo de ceder a uma chuva de emoções tempestuosas.
